I’m Kristina Butler, your highly-experienced recruiter and career coach who’s passionate about supporting fellow professionals and aspiring professionals as they meet their life and career goals while maintaining some sense of balance. I’m a certified HR Professional with an MSHRD (MS in Human Resource Development), a PHR (Professional in Human Resources-HRCI designation) and an SHRM-CP (SHRM Certified Professional).
I began my career in the financial services industry back in 1999 in backoffice/operations and strategically worked my way up to Sales & Relationship Manager before diving into HR/Recruiting. I recently made a career leap to the energy sector where there continues to be a need for Diversity Recruiting professionals like myself. I volunteer at a local domestic violence program and still lend my decades of HR experience to support others in their career journeys.
I am the single mother of two amazing daughters (one teenager and one adult) who keep life interesting with their unique personalities. I was born and raised in Queens, New York and now call RVA home (for now). I enjoy trying new restaurants, traveling to Mexico where I can practice my Spanish, planning in my digital (and sometimes paper) planner, and listening to self-help books on Audible. One interesting fact about me is that I attended boarding school for 9th and 10th grades and it was truly a life-changing experience. Highly recommend!
